Mayweather-Canelo PPV undercard bouts named

The opening two pay-per-view bouts of the September 14 mega-card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas have been announced. In a 12-round battle for the IBF junior middleweight title, Ishe “Sugar Shay” Smith (25-5, 11 KOs) defends his crown for the first time against Carlos Molina (21-5-2, 6 KOs). The opening bout on the PPV will be a 10-round welterweight clash between Pablo Cesar “El Demoledor” Cano (26-3-1, 20 KOs) and England’s Ashley “Treasure” Theophane (33-5-1, 10 KOs). Of course, the two main bouts are the already announced blockbuster Mayweather-Alvarez and Garcia-Matthysse showdowns.
